1.     Q: Which plans are available with the Prepaid Blackberry Service?

A: There are 3 plans: Messaging, Social Networking and Internet Bundle for both prepaid
     and Postpaid customers.
 
        

 

2.     Q: What are the differences in these plans?

A:

BlackBerry Social Network bundle provides:

•       Social Network Applications – Facebook, MySpace etc

•       Instant messaging services – BB Messenger, MSN Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger etc.

•       Excluded are:

ü  BlackBerry Browsing – customer will still be able to browse via Digicel Live

ü  the ability to send or receive email

 

BlackBerry Messaging Bundle provides

•       Email 

ü  one BlackBerry email address (i.e. username@carrier.blackberry.com) to be created and used as a standalone email address or as a forwarding email address for work email accounts per BID;

ü  integration of certain third party email accounts;

•       Instant Messaging Service (IM): e.g. BlackBerry Messenger, MSN Messenger etc.

•       Excluded are:

ü  BlackBerry Browsing – customer will still be able to browse via Digicel Live

ü  Social Network Applications – e.g. Facebook, MySpace etc.

 

BlackBerry Internet bundles provides:

All the services: send and receive email from their devices, browse the Internet, use BlackBerry messenger.

 
 
  

3      Q: How can I apply for one of the BlackBerry Bundles?
A:  Prepaid BlackBerry Bundles can be activated via USSD code *136# and are available for variable subscription periods of 7, 14 and 30 days rather than a fixed one (1) month service period.

 

Postpaid BlackBerry bundles can be activated via Customer Care, in combination with any postpaid package, with a contract term of two (2) years.
